EPF Reg & Compliance involves registering a business under the Employees’ Provident Fund scheme and following all related legal responsibilities. Any company with 20 or more employees must register with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). Once registered, both the employer and the employee contribute 12% of the basic salary each month towards the provident fund. The employer is responsible for generating UANs (Universal Account Numbers) for employees and ensuring accurate monthly contributions.
In addition to registration, ongoing compliance includes timely PF deposits, filing electronic challans, submitting monthly returns through the EPFO portal
